Nations go to war for peace. So do I.
I went against the tide when I decided to give my life to Jesus and yes, that truly felt like fighting. But no regrets, I took hold of the eternal life God offers me! What better thing can I have in this world? I might have lost some things, including friends, but what are those compared to having Jesus in my life? And the fight goes on. With the busyness of life, I have to fight to guard my daily time with God, I have to fight for the fulfillment of God’s promises to me, among other things. But it gets better as the days go by. And the rewards? They turn out far much better, too! More love, more joy, more peace, more answered prayers, and so on – things that money can’t buy!
